Super-precision angular contact ball bearings cover a shaft diameter of 6-360 mm. Due to different application requirements, SKF's ultra-precision angular contact ball bearing classification includes four ISO size series among many implementation standards. Bearing designs and variants provide a wide range of options, enabling it to be integrated into almost every machine tool and other applications that require precision bearings.

Super-precision angular contact ball bearings are non-separable like all angular contact ball bearings. There are raceways on the inner and outer rings, and the inner and outer rings are relatively displaced in the bearing axis. This means that in addition to radial loads, this bearing can also withstand axial loads acting in one direction. The axial force caused by the radial load in this bearing requires a reaction force to maintain balance. Therefore, angular contact ball bearings are usually adjusted with another bearing or used in groups.

The height of the shoulder on one or two bearing rings can be different. Each bearing carries the largest possible number of balls, which are guided by a window cage.
